One Funding Application soft launch and training

2/18/2025

Multiple opportunities for stakeholders to learn more

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is excited to announce the upcoming soft launch of the One Funding Application. A soft launch is the release of a system or product to a targeted audience in advance of a full launch. The Department is using this approach to allow stakeholders to familiarize themselves with the One Funding Application prior to the official launch in June.

The One Funding Application will be accessible through the ED STEPS tile in late March. This soft launch includes only entities that have an intent to apply for the Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant and the E4E Grant. All other grants will be integrated into the system during the official launch. For more information, please visit the One Funding Application webpage.

Upcoming One Funding Application trainings

The Department is committed to ensuring that stakeholders have multiple opportunities to learn more about the One Funding Application. A variety of training opportunities will be offered through the next several months, which will include regional training and webinar formats. View the scheduled training opportunities for April.

Webinar Training

This training will focus on how to access the One Funding Application, basic navigation, the grant approval process, and more. All webinar sessions will cover the same content. To register for the April webinar session, please use the registration link below.

Regional Training

The Department is also hosting in-person training sessions throughout the state. The training sessions will be led by the ED STEPS unit and focus on the One Funding Application, specifically highlighting system access, navigation, the grant approval process, and more.

Each location’s session will include a demonstration or presentation and time for questions. Morning sessions will run from 9-11 a.m. and are geared toward data entry users. Afternoon sessions will take place from 1-3 p.m. and are geared toward administrative personnel. Attendees should bring a laptop to the sessions.
