PG&E Corporation Schedules First Quarter 2025 Earnings Release and Conference Call

PG&E Corporation (NYSE: PCG) will hold a conference call on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. Pacific Time) to discuss its first quarter 2025 results. PG&E Advancing $43 Million for Nine New Community Microgrids in Northern California

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) today announced its intent to award up to $43 million in Microgrid Incentive Program (MIP) grant funding for the development of nine new community-driven microgrids throughout its Northern and Central California service area. PG&E today also announced the opening of the application window for the second wave of MIP grant funding beginning April 3. To apply for the second application window, interested parties must submit MIP project ideas to PG&E by May 30, 2025, through an email to communitymicrogrids@pge.com . The Microgrid Incentive Program funds the development of community microgrids to support disadvantaged communities most vulnerable to outages. A microgrid consists of a group of interconnected customers and distributed energy resource(s) (DER) that can disconnect from and reconnect to the grid to stay energized during an outage. PG&E Launches Seasonal Aggregation of Versatile Energy (SAVE) Virtual Power Plant Program

Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) today announced the launch of Seasonal Aggregation of Versatile Energy (SAVE), an Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) demonstration and a first-of-its-kind virtual power plant (VPP) that harnesses residential distributed energy resources to reduce local grid constraints. Working with multiple aggregators and the Demand Side Analytics research team, the demonstration program will include up to 1,500 electric residential customers with battery energy storage systems and up to 400 customers with smart electric panels. The VPP will be dispatched for up to 100 hours from June through October 2025, providing localized support by supplying battery power and load flexibility to selected neighborhoods during local peak demand periods when electric substations and feeder lines approach capacity limits.
