Our Climate Change Investment Initiative (2c2i) invests in startups focused on climate change mitigation, adaptation and resiliency efforts, while also promoting social equality and economic prosperity. This #EarthMonth, we’re highlighting a few of the startups in our portfolio dedicated to improving our environment. Volunteers from PECO, including President and CEO of PECO, David M. Velazquez, joined the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) to help sort bare root trees in preparation for planting season. The trees will be planted with safety in mind as they intentionally select locations that prevent tree and electric wire conflicts. #NationalVolunteerMonth #ElectricalSafety

We’re pleased to announce that Carim Khouzami, president and CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric, is taking on the role of EVP, Transmission and Development for Exelon, responsible for transmission operations across all Exelon regions and ensuring strong partnerships are in place to provide the resources and services needed to fulfill our strategic plan. We are also excited to announce that Tamla Olivier, currently COO of Pepco Holdings, has been named president and CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric.
