Empowering Future Innovators: SHPE Scholarship Opportunity The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is proud to support the next generation of innovators, trailblazers, and leaders in STEM. Through our scholarship program, we aim to provide financial assistance to aspiring students who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also a commitment to making a meaningful impact in their communities. This scholarship is more than just funding—it's an investment in the future of STEM and the empowerment of individuals who are shaping a better tomorrow.

3-Tiered scholarships: 

  • 1 scholarship at $2000

  • 1 scholarship at $1000

  • 1 scholarship at $500

Scholarship Applicant Eligibility Criteria

  • Must currently be enrolled in an accredited institution program or upcoming high school graduate with plans to be enrolled in an accredited institution program in any field related to science, technology, engineering, or math.

  • Must be an active SHPE student member or be a relative who is associated with SHPE GPC

  • If selected you will need to submit a proof of enrollment (letter of acceptance, current schedule, tuition bill, etc.)

Scholarship Purpose

Funds are to be used exclusively for education-related expenses such as:

  • Tuition

  • Textbooks

  • Lab fees

  • Housing

This scholarship is awarded for the purpose of supporting your higher education, and the funds must be used solely for tuition, fees, textbooks, or other education-related expenses. Misuse of funds may result in the need for repayment.

We’re interested in understanding how you demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a sense of responsibility toward others. This scholarship aims to support students who show a genuine desire to make a positive impact in their community, even when there is no immediate benefit to themselves.

Please be as detailed and specific as possible, and use this opportunity to highlight your values and character.
