Established in 1976 to enrich the quality of life by cultivating arts and culture for all.
Spoken Views Collective was founded in 2006 by Iain Watson. With the help of many local businesses around Reno, we were able to host events and open mic nights to share the spoken word experience. Our mission is to provide a platform and safe spaces for spoken word expression as well as build a community of spoken word artists and poets. SVC will have 6 poets for the feature including: Jesse James Ziegler, Griffin Peralta, Reena Spansail, Pan Pantoja, Krystal with a K, and M. Colton Brodeur and Elisa Garcia will emcee the event. We will be sharing some “Nevadacana” themed poetry as well as our best work. Parental advisory as we speak about adult themed subjects.
