This year celebrates our 8th year with All About the DOGue Salon & Spa. We love everything Lena and her team does for our precious little monster. Coco is a diva and needs lots of attention, and she gets it here.

If you have a Shih Tzu looking to get a flawless boot cut, make an appointment today. You won't be disappointed.

Worst grooming experience in the Bay Area. Never again! My dog was dropped off around 9:30am and released at 5pm (I received a text saying he would be ready by 4). I asked if he was walked for a bathroom break/access to water, but the person there didn't answer me and avoided my question. This gave me the answer that he wasn't walked for a bathroom break or offered water. I suggested that appointment times need to be offered and they said it was more efficient this way. NO! Efficient for whom? Absolutely not for the dog who is cooped up for almost 8 hours with apparently no water or bathroom break. Clients are not allowed in the shop at all, so you can't see the space where your dog is being held and everyone is waiting awkwardly outside. The work is uneven and I found off at drop-off that my dog was not getting a full cut and only a trim. Trim came back long and uneven. For what they're charging he should get a full cut. They also take your card into the shop out of your view. He came home stressful and backed up, wouldn't eat, and I had to take him outside twice at 1am & 4am (following the appointment) because he was throwing up - most likely still stressed and backed up. Most of these glowing reviews must be friends and family. Please don't make my mistake, just take your dog elsewhere

UPDATE: following day 11/03/2024. After throwing up in the early AM my dog has been licking the site where he was shaved and nicked all day long! Hasn't been eating because he's backed up. Avoid this place

TLDR- They made my dog bleed and lied about it when I asked.

I brought my dog in here for a nail trim. It's a little strange they don't let you go inside but I didn't think too much of it. When I got my dog back they told me they had to muzzle her because she was "smiling too much". She has been to many vets and groomers and has never shown even the slightest amount of aggression.

The biggest issue is when I got her back I asked if she had been knicked and if there was any blood- They told me no, "no issues at all and that she was fine". She was not fine- I took her home and found blood on one of her nails that had clearly been cut way too short and treated with styptic powder.

I get it, this happens, but you cannot lie about it. This could impact the way I care for my dog as a result and her health ultimately.

I've been coming to All About the Dogue the last two years. Lena and the crew are phenomenal and consistently cut my dogs hair very well. Bobby(my dogue) leaves this place looking, feeling and acting fabulous. Thank you for the excellent service and quality every time!

I've been looking for a new, reasonable, friendly, professional dog groomer for a while. Decided to look on Yelp on Monday. Looked at the reviews, and decided to check out "All about the Dogue". I visited the website and liked what they offered. Kinda like, day spa for dogs. After having a comforting talk, the owner,I booked an appointment for two days later. (Today was the day. Instructed to drop off between 9-10. Will contact for pick up after )
It is so easy and convenient. Ace seemed to enjoy his day at "All about the Dogue groomers and spa.
I picked him up at 3pm. He felt and smelled so good. His cut was just as I asked. I love it. I can see his eyes. Thank you, Ms. Lena & staff. We've found what we were looking for

Took my dog in for a nail trim. She has been to multiple nail salons and although she isn't the best client, she is never aggressive unless there is a reason to be. The people at this store brought her out saying they can't take her again because of her aggressiveness, but I'm sure that aggression was brought on by the painful nail cutting she received. On top of that she had poo all over her bottom, as she was probably terrified and in pain and they did not even tell me about it before I picked her up and got it all over me. $28 dollars for bloody nails and poop. Waste of money.

      Bloody nails.

This may be the first review I've ever left for a business, but I'm really disappointed with this business's level of customer service (or lack thereof), and I want to make sure others are aware.

I took my dog here a handful of times. I thought it was a bit expensive but liked it because they gave good cleans and cuts.

However, the last time I dropped my dog off for a haircut, they did not follow our directions for grooming. They barely cut any hair off our dog despite us showing pictures and saying we definitely wanted the cut to be short. So we basically paid $120 for a bath. But, they made us pay for the haircut before bringing our dog out to see him. After I asked if they could cut more off, they connected me with the owner "Miss Lena" (after multiple calls back and forth over the next few days), who told me I would have to pay for a new haircut if we wanted more trimmed off. She then not only refused to offer a refund or credit, but would not even admit that they had offered an inadequate service or made a mistake.

They clearly value their pride and pocket way more than the customer's concerns. I will never go back. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Such bad service that they actually inspired me write a review.

BEST NAIL PLACE EVER FOR DOGS!! Don't come here
They don't know how to cut dog's nails and they said the dog was too aggressive because as you see, I LITERALLY CAN SEE THE BLOOD. And I paid $28 dollars for just cutting lol. Starting price is $28?????? Great lol

Really disappointed to be leaving this negative review, but I feel like it's earned. I brought my dog in for a cut and he came home with a different collar and without his dog tags. Seems like a simple enough problem to resolve, yet it wasn't.

After I made multiple phone calls and did not receive the follow up calls I was promised, the owner proceeded to argue with me that my dog didn't come in with the collar and tags I know I brought him in with. It seemed bizarre to argue with a client over what amounts to a $30 credit, but she eventually agreed to credit my next appointment if I showed her proof that I repurchased the items.

On my return visit, I attempted to show the staff person my receipt for the new dog collar and tag, but she said I had to email the owner. I emailed the owner, but didn't get a response much like the return phone calls I never received. I guess she saved herself $30, but lost a customer who was paying her $175 every 4 weeks and lowered her yelp score even more. Customer service matters...
