Canary Impact has a small board of only two members at the moment. The board is active, and members must meet and provide strategic, planning, and programming support to the organization. This requires board members to donate 5-7 hours a month. Canary Impact is looking for formerly incarcerated people to join its board to support its programmatic and fundraising efforts.

Canary Impact seeks to bring more strategic advisors to provide technical assistance and capacity building to the Canary Impact Prize recipients.

BioBus helps K-12 and college students discover, explore, and pursue science. We focus on students excluded from the scientific community due to factors such as race, gender, economic status, and physical access. Through this work, we envision a world where all people have the opportunity to reach their full scientific potential.

We have 11 board members. The whole board meets quarterly. There are 4 committees that meeting in between board meetings. Those committees include a governance committee, development committee, finance committee, and an executive committee. Our board has a 5000 give/get expectation.

We would love to have anyone who is skilled in communications, financial projections, or change management. We are enacting a new 5 year strategic plan! We are looking for someone who would be excited to help us actualize our ambitious plans in an efficient and impactful way!
